Have you ever looked at the url for your Facebook page and wondered if you could get rid of the string of numbers after the page name? Well, here’s how to do that. Once your Facebook Page has received 25 Likes you can request a custom Facebook Web Address for your page. In the picture below the top image shows an example of the default url assigned when you set your page name. The bottom image shows a custom url without the string of numbers. To request the web address, use Facebook as your Page and go to Edit Page and then Update Page Info to change the Facebook Web Address. Click on Edit and type in the name you’d like for the Web Address. It’s best to keep it as close to the name of your page as possible. The custom web address is much neater when using your Facebook page url in your email signature block and elsewhere on the web to send visitors to your Page.
